Our Services

Join us on Sunday mornings 10:30 and Sunday evenings 18:30. Our services are aimed at students and young adults, but anyone is welcome to join.

Sunday Morning Service

We meet on Sunday mornings 10:30 in the main church building to worship together, to grow together and to discover our calling together.

Ekhaya Connect

A more intimate opportunity to connect on a deeper level with God, with ourselves and with one another.

We normally look at the text we did in the morning and explore it a bit more together.

Workshops

Once a month we offer a practical workshop to empower people (students and anybody else who wishes to join). In the past the workshops have covered: budgeting, personality types, self defense, interview readiness and more.

SOCIALS & MEALS

An important aspect of community is having shared experiences. The early church used to eat together often. So we like to regularly hold events that create an opportunity to build relationships and get together as a family

COMMUNITY OUTREACHES

We have a weekly Soup Kitchen at church on Wednesday afternoons at 16:30 where you can volunteer your time.

We also organise regular outreaches, such as prayer walks, fixing potholes and cleaning our community.

HOLIDAY OUTREACHES

We currently organise two outreaches during University holidays:

10 Days of HOPE

An outreach in the inner-city of Johannesburg which lasts the first 10 days of the June/July recess. It is a practical opportunity to participate with students from other universities in reaching out to the community of Hillbrow and surrounds.

Inalegolo, Botswana

Once a year we visit a rural San Community in the Kgalagadi desert in Botswana. We support the local church and community through a variety of outreaches. We have built a strong relationship with the community over the past 30 years.
